Convenient Walk-In Services
No appointment is necessary except for surgical procedures. Please call 704-435-5475 to schedule a surgical, dental or anesthetic procedure.
Surgical and Dental Procedures
We are able to meet your needs for a variety of surgical procedures, including routine spays/neuters, soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, routine teeth cleanings, and tooth extractions. Surgical and dental procedures must be scheduled Monday thru Friday by calling 704-435-5475.
Boarding and Grooming
Our boarding and grooming facility is located at 1514 Shelby Hwy and can be reached at 704-445-8494. All services at this location are by appointment only. The hours of operation for the boarding and grooming facility are:
Emergency & Urgent Care
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such a snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency. Since we are not a 24-hour facility, after hours emergencies are referred to your closest emergency clinic. Local emergency clinics include:
While we limit our medical and surgical skills to dogs and cats, we can offer assistance with rabbits, pocket pets, and birds. Routine nail trims and wing trims are no problem. Medical and surgical needs for these "exotic" pets would be best served by someone with more experience with those species. We would be happy to help you with locating such.
Cherryville Animal Hospital accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Care Credit. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.
